The World Ju-Jitsu Corporation is proud to announce that on the 16th of February 2016, in the person of its founder Adriano Busà and a delegation of Black Belts, we will be in Bruxelles at the Visitors' Centre of the European Commission, in order to attend the course on the EU's Role and the “European Qualification Framework – EQF”, run By Prof. Giovanni Gordiani as a speaker.

The course is aimed at confirming the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation – which had already received accreditation during the European Week of Sport at the event EurEthics Sport for All – within the European Framework for Qualifications, according to EurEthics principles. EurEthics' certification methods comply with the European Qualification Framework as well as with the ISO/IEC 17024:2012 Conformity assessment – General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons (ISO 17024 Licensed to Eurethics Training Academy Number: OP-22926 of the 19/08/2014), which regulates personal professional competences, in this case as a sport educator (Educator through Sport). On this occasion, Shodai Soke Adriano Busà, will be given the title of Professor (Head Master-Academy Professor) in recognition of his international professionalism in Ju-Jitsu. What is more, Shodai Soke Adriano Busà will be given the 8th Level EQF Certificate, the highest grade in the Professional Register Education through Sport Instructors Association – ETSIA, registered as European Qualification Framework (Eurethics/Etsia) and National in Italy Endas/PAS (professionisti associati sportivi).

This way, the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation enters into the history of sport as the first organization in the Ju-Jitsu sector receiving mandate from EurEthics/ETSIA to issue certifications “Sport Educator” according to the National Framework of Qualifications and according to the EQF, reference framework in Europe and Internationally, in compliance with the recommendation of the European Parliament and the Council of 23 April 2008.

The journey of our Soke Adriano Busà to Boston (USA) has been cancelled due to the recent turn of events in Europe.

Departures are strongly discouraged by the authorities.

The journey via Paris with Air France has been postponed without a specific date to the first half of the new year, therefore the set appointments will be postponed too.

The World Ju-Jitsu Corporation, represented by its founder Shodai Soke Adriano Busà and its delegation made up by the Italians Shihan Maltagliati, Shihan Legato and Sensei Morelli, had the honor of being introduced as high representatives for the ju-jitsu sector at the European Commission.

Prof. Giovanni Gordiani as EurEthics' President (body with accreditation from the European Commission), led the WJJC delegation together with a Karate delegation into the European institutions and introduced the professional protocols drawn up by the European Commission in order to professionalize the different sport sectors. It is in this context that our international organization is going to represent Ju-Jitsu all over Europe.

After careful evaluation from the part of the European institutions, the WJJC has been recognized as the ideal partner to entrust with the Ju-Jitsu sport sector. Moreover, Soke Adriano Busà and his Black Belts were asked to perform in front of an audience of international athletes at the “Beactive-European Week of Sport”. This way, the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation officially and directly joins the professional training project that the European Commission is developping by selecting the most competent and professional sport representations on the international scene.

It is a great honor and privilege for our organization to cooperate with the European institutions to draw up new Ju-Jitsu protocols according to very high professional standards with certification ISO. A very demanding task, which our Soke Adriano Busà will carry out confident of his great experience internationally recognized.

The WJJC delegation will be going to Bruxelles on November to settle last details for issuing ISO certifications.

The World Ju-Jitsu Corporation, represented by its founder Shodai Soke Adriano Busà, is proud to announce that from the 10th to the 13th of September 2015, has officially been invited to the official events of Bruxelles at the “European Week of Sport”, organized by the European Commission and in collaboration with EurEthics/Etsia/Endas. Such events deal with the basic themes of education through sport and high level training in martial arts, among which Ju-Jitsu acts a prominent part. The events of Bruxelles will be held at the “European Sport Village” and at the “Sport Centre of the European Commission”, by means of seminars and conferences on martial arts, where we'll participate as guests of honour for the Ju-Jitsu sector. Our Shodai Soke Adriano Busà will take to the event some of his best Italian black belts, Shihan Massimiliano Maltagliati, Shihan Giovanni Legato and Sensei Marco Morelli.

It will be a great honour and satisfaction for the WJJC to represent Ju-Jitsu after careful evaluation from the part of EurEthics Training Academy, body with accreditation from the European Commission of Bruxelles and represented by its President Prof. Giovanni Gordiani, who we publicly thank.
