WJJC Instructor Gi

The WJJC Instructors’ Uniform: Recognition, Authority, and Pride

WJJC RED JACKET INSTRUCTOR

Instructors of the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation wear a distinctive Gi that makes them immediately recognizable within the dojo and at official competitions. This differentiation is not just aesthetic; it reflects the role of responsibility and leadership that each instructor assumes within our organization.

Uniform Features for Instructors

  • Red jacket with black collar:
The jacket is made of high-quality 100% cotton, designed to provide maximum comfort and freedom of movement during training and teaching. The deep red color with a black collar symbolizes the authority and experience of the instructor, distinguishing them from students.
  • Personalized embroidery:
On the left chest side, there is the traditional Saint George embroidery, a historic and spiritual symbol of the WJJC. Above it, the instructor’s name is carefully stitched, adding a touch of personalization and pride.
  • Black pants:
Unlike students, who wear white pants with a red stripe, instructors wear black pants, maintaining the same cut and quality to highlight their special role.

Patches and Recognition Symbols

Instructors sew on their Gi:

  • The World Nation Badge, identical to that worn by students, representing their national identity and connection to the global WJJC community.
  • Special teaching level patches, indicating the rank and qualifications achieved in the instructor’s training path. These patches are an official recognition of the technical and teaching skills acquired (for more details, see the section dedicated to patches).

The Importance of the Uniform for Instructors

Wearing the instructor’s Gi is an honor that goes beyond appearance. It is a tangible symbol of commitment, competence, and responsibility toward students, the dojo, and the philosophy of Ju-Jitsu according to the WJJC.

This uniform represents the continuity between tradition and innovation, between personal discipline and the ability to pass on values and techniques to new generations.

WJJC instructors are not only masters of martial techniques but also role models and points of reference: their Gi is the first visible testimony of this.
