Within the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation, there are several patches to be applied on the Gi, each carrying a specific meaning and purpose within our organization.
The main patch is:
- World Nation Badge: a patch exclusively designed to indicate the practitioner’s country of origin, featuring the national flag and a stylized world map with a red mark identifying the home country. This badge represents personal identity within the global context of the WJJC.
In addition to this, there are special patches dedicated to specific categories, including:
- Senior Badge: reserved for experienced practitioners with advanced skills and leadership roles.
- Junior Badge: designed for young students, symbolizing their educational journey and growth.
- Women’s Badge: a special recognition for female practitioners, highlighting their presence and contribution to the art of Ju-Jitsu.
- Kobudo Badge: dedicated to specialists in traditional weaponry, emphasizing mastery of this complementary discipline.
- Fight Badge: reserved for athletes engaged in Fight Jitsu competitions, distinguishing those who practice this particular specialization.
These patches are not mere decorations but powerful symbols of belonging, achievement, and identity within our organization. Their application on the Gi fosters a strong sense of community, discipline, and mutual recognition among members of the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation worldwide.
