INTERVIEW TEXT:
You are founder and technical director of World Ju-Jitsu Corporation. Could you tell us something more about yours professional path in the field of martial arts?
I’ve spent over 35 years in the martial arts. I began with Judo when I was a child in 1981. After some years and some regional competitions I gave up as I was not totally satisfied with that discipline. I was a blue belt in Judo and decided to practice something I thought would be fit for my nature. As a teenager I began attending a well-known boxing school in my town. After a very intense training time, I realized once more it was not exactly what would satisfy my needs. I begun a research among the martial arts of that time and tried many of them until 1991, when in the gym I attended, I watched a lesson of Ju-Jitsu and I realized at once it was what I had been looking for.
