Ju-Jitsu Standards · Professional Training Framework

The World Ju-Jitsu Corporation (WJJC) originates from a defined technical and institutional vision developed by its Founder, Adriano Busà, Shodai Sōke, 9th Dan. The presence of a Founder within the WJJC does not imply personal authority exercised without responsibility. Rather, it represents the technical origin of the system and the source from which the principles and direction of Kishidō Ju-Jitsu were defined. Through this vision, the WJJC was established to preserve martial integrity while guiding the responsible development of the discipline at an international level.
FOUNDING VISION
Vision and purpose of the organization
The WJJC was created with the intention of moving beyond informal transmission, fragmented interpretations and individual claims of authority that often appear in loosely organized martial environments.
The founding vision aimed to establish:
a coherent technical system
clear standards of evaluation and certification
responsible institutional governance
an international organization capable of ensuring continuity beyond individuals
This vision led to the formal codification of Kishidō (騎士道) — The Way of the Knight, a modern Ju-Jitsu system rooted in the principles of classical Budō, ethical responsibility and practical effectiveness.
TECHNICAL LINEAGE AND EXPERIENCE
Experience and technical development
The technical background of the Founder developed through decades of continuous practice, study and responsibility within martial arts and professional self-defense environments. His experience includes traditional martial disciplines, specialization in Ju-Jitsu, and the development of training programs for professional and institutional contexts. These experiences did not lead to the creation of a personal style, but to the development of a coherent and teachable system capable of being transmitted with clarity and responsibility.
THE ROLE OF THE SŌKE
Responsibility and technical guardianship
Within the WJJC, the title of Sōke is neither honorary nor symbolic.
It identifies:
the original technical source of the system
the highest authority responsible for preserving its methodological integrity
the safeguarding of the Kishidō tradition within the organization
The role of the Sōke is inseparable from responsibility, accountability and continuity.
FROM FOUNDER TO INSTITUTION
Authority and institutional governance
Although the WJJC originates from the vision of its Founder, the organization is founded upon a culture of responsibility and governance that ensures continuity over time. Within the WJJC, the Sōke represents the technical origin of the system and the highest authority responsible for safeguarding the principles and methodology of Kishidō Ju-Jitsu. At the same time, the organization operates through shared standards, certification systems and institutional responsibilities that allow the WJJC to grow internationally while maintaining stability and coherence. In this way, the Founder’s vision remains the technical and moral reference of the discipline, while the organization ensures continuity, unity and long-term development.
INSTITUTIONAL CONTINUITY
Long-term vision and international development
Today the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation operates as an international institution guided by shared standards, responsibility and long-term vision. The founding vision continues to serve as the reference point for the technical integrity, organizational coherence and international development of the WJJC.
