NATIONAL REPRESENTATION

National Representation within the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation (WJJC) defines how the Kishidō System is developed, coordinated and represented at national level. It is a role of trust, responsibility and leadership entrusted to experienced individuals committed to the development of Ju-Jitsu within their country while remaining aligned with the international vision of the WJJC.

NATIONAL AUTONOMY

Within the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation, each National Representative is granted operational autonomy within their own country. This autonomy allows the Representative to develop activities, organize training and promote the discipline according to national realities, cultural context and local growth.

SCOPE OF NATIONAL AUTHORITY

At national level, the National Representative may:

• organize courses and training programs

• award Kyu grades

• appoint and recognize instructors

• organize seminars, workshops and examinations

• promote events, competitions and martial activities

All such activities are conducted within the national territory and in alignment with the principles and direction of the WJJC.

DAN GRADES AND MARTIAL AUTHORITY

The examination and awarding of Dan grades remain exclusively under the authority of the Sōke. This principle ensures the unity, integrity and continuity of the Kishidō System at international level.

INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Activities that extend beyond national boundaries require prior authorization from the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation and the Sōke.

Within the international structure of the WJJC, the Sōke represents the global martial reference and technical authority for the Kishidō System.

FREEDOM WITH RESPONSIBILITY

Within their country, the National Representative has the freedom to organize, develop and promote activities in accordance with national needs. This freedom is always exercised with responsibility, respect for standards and loyalty to the principles of the WJJC.

SUPPORT FROM THE WJJC

The World Ju-Jitsu Corporation remains available to support, guide and assist National Representatives whenever needed.

Through cooperation and shared experience, the organization helps strengthen national development while maintaining unity and coherence at international level.
