From October 16 to 30, 2016, the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation conducted an International Kishidō Ju-Jitsu Tour across multiple Japanese cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Oita.
The tour was led by Sōke Adriano Busà, accompanied by Shihan Massimiliano Maltagliati and Shihan Giovanni Legato, as official WJJC representatives.
Throughout the tour, Kishidō Ju-Jitsu was taught and shared in various contexts, alongside visits to historically and culturally significant locations connected to Japanese martial tradition.
The delegation was hosted by Shihan Katsunori Tsujita, who also acted as cultural guide, facilitating direct engagement with local practitioners and environments.
The WJJC delegation was received with respect and interest, with particular appreciation expressed for the level of professionalism, technical clarity, and the seriousness with which a non-Japanese organization represented and honored a martial art of Japanese origin.
Authentic martial exchange is measured by respect, responsibility, and the ability to represent tradition with dignity.
