The International Kishidō Ju-Jitsu Seminar held in Bayamo from April 1 to 8, 2019, marked a significant step in the institutional and technical development of the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation in Cuba.

Hosted by WJJC Cuba and its National Technical Director, Orlando R. Saborit, direct student of the Sōke, the event was conducted as an official WJJC international activity, reinforcing the structured growth of Kishidō Ju-Jitsu within the country.

During the event, Sōke Adriano Busà officially awarded the 3rd Dan Black Belt to Orlando R. Saborit, recognizing his technical competence, commitment, and responsibility in promoting the Kishidō Ju-Jitsu system according to WJJC standards.

Alongside the grading ceremony, an International Kishidō Ju-Jitsu Seminar was conducted, involving members of WJJC Cuba as well as practitioners from other martial arts schools representing various cities across the island.

The seminar created an open and respectful environment for technical exchange, dialogue and shared martial practice.

Sōke Busà was accompanied by Sensei Silvio Campus, Technical Director of the City of Cagliari and representative of WJJC Italy, emphasizing international cooperation and continuity within the organization.

Training sessions focused on structure, discipline, energy management and realistic application, presenting Kishidō Ju-Jitsu as a modern martial system firmly rooted in traditional values.

This event confirmed Cuba as an active and growing presence within the international WJJC network, founded on authenticity, responsibility and inclusive martial development.

An international seminar where recognition, openness and responsibility strengthened the foundations of Kishidō Ju-Jitsu in Cuba.
