The International Kishidō Ju-Jitsu Seminar held in Marawila from June 27 to July 2, 2019, represented a significant institutional and technical milestone within the international activities of the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation.

Hosted by WJJC Sri Lanka and its National Technical Director, Sensei Prasanna Fernando, direct student of the Sōke, the seminar was conducted under official WJJC standards and within a fully recognized national structure.

Sōke Adriano Busà was accompanied by Shihan Giovanni Legato and Sensei Martino Sisi, representatives of WJJC Italy, reflecting the international cohesion and continuity of the organization.

The seminar saw the participation of law enforcement and penitentiary personnel, including officers from the institution where Sensei Prasanna Fernando serves professionally.

Training sessions focused on structured Kishidō Ju-Jitsu principles, emphasizing discipline, control, responsibility and realistic application within professional contexts.

During the event, Sōke Busà was formally greeted by the Director of the Penitentiary Institution, who attended the seminar to personally welcome the WJJC delegation, highlighting the institutional recognition and respect attributed to the activity.

The seminar strengthened the role of WJJC Sri Lanka within the international network and confirmed Kishidō Ju-Jitsu as a structured martial system suitable for disciplined professional environments, grounded in ethics, responsibility and technical integrity.
