From September 23 to 30, 2017, Sōke Adriano Busà participated in the European Week of Sport in Brussels, an international initiative dedicated to promoting dialogue, ethics and cooperation within the European sports and institutional framework.

The event was organized by EurEthics – Sport for All, under the presidency of Giovanni Gordiani, and included a series of institutional meetings held at the House of Sport, focused on topics related to European sport development, ethics, education and social responsibility.

Within the same context, two International Kishidō Ju-Jitsu seminars were conducted, presenting the discipline as an educational and cultural practice aligned with European values such as respect, responsibility and personal development.

The seminars offered participants an opportunity to engage with martial practice as a tool for discipline, awareness and ethical growth.

Sōke Busà was accompanied by an official delegation of WJJC Italy, emphasizing the institutional character of the participation and the role of the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation within the broader European sporting context.

During the European Week of Sport, Sōke Adriano Busà was formally awarded the title of Professor – 8th Level Plus and appointed Academic Senator, an academic and institutional recognition promoted by EurEthics – Sport for All.

This recognition acknowledged his long-standing commitment to the ethical, educational and cultural development of martial arts, as well as his contribution to promoting discipline, responsibility and personal growth through martial practice in dialogue with European values.

The experience in Brussels represented a moment of convergence between martial culture and European institutional vision, reinforcing the role of martial arts as a meaningful component of contemporary sport and education
