Ju-Jitsu Standards · Professional Training Framework

The Special Member level represents an advanced form of affiliation within the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation (WJJC). It is intended for practitioners who maintain active and continuous involvement in training, seminars and recognized activities of the WJJC, and who wish to formalize a deeper institutional connection beyond the Friend Member level. Special Membership is not a rank and does not confer teaching authority. It represents an active and participatory position within the WJJC.
WHO THIS LEVEL IS FOR
The Special Member level is intended for:
active martial arts practitioners
individuals regularly involved in WJJC seminars, events or competitions
members seeking recognized participation in the activities of the Corporation
practitioners aligned with the ethical principles and standards of Kishidō
This level presupposes continuity of practice and active participation.
ROLE WITHIN THE WJJC
Special Members:
are officially registered within the WJJC international registry as active members
may participate in seminars reserved for affiliated members
may take part in official WJJC competitions and demonstrations, where applicable

These elements represent formal recognition of affiliation with the organization.
POSITION WITHIN THE AFFILIATION SYSTEM
The Special Member level represents an intermediate position within the WJJC affiliation system. Some individuals choose to maintain this level as their long-term form of participation. Others may, over time, request access to higher institutional levels based on experience, continuity and alignment with WJJC standards. Progression is never automatic.
A RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENT
Becoming a Special Member means accepting a greater level of responsibility toward:
personal conduct within the martial community
respect for the principles of Kishidō
alignment with WJJC standards and values
continuity, seriousness and institutional coherence.
