Ju-Jitsu Standards · Professional Training Framework




The Official Member level represents a formal institutional affiliation within the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation (WJJC). It is intended for qualified black belt practitioners who operate in a teaching or organizational context and wish to align their dojo, training activity and students with the technical and ethical standards of the WJJC. Official Membership is granted through technical evaluation and institutional recognition.
ELIGIBILITY
The Official Member level is open to:
black belt holders in Ju-Jitsu or other recognized martial arts
instructors operating a dojo or training group
practitioners willing to align their teaching activity with WJJC standards
individuals prepared to assume technical and institutional responsibility
Recognition of rank is subject to evaluation by the WJJC Technical Commission.
ROLE WITHIN THE WJJC
Official Members:
are formally recognized within the WJJC instructional body
may operate according to WJJC technical standards and methodology
may participate in seminars, training programs and official events organized by the WJJC
serve as reference points for students affiliated through their dojo
This level grants operational authority within defined institutional limits.
INSTITUTIONAL RECOGNITION
Official Member affiliation includes:
official registration in the WJJC international directory
an Official Member certificate issued by the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation
an International Budopass–Sport registering personal data and recognized qualifications
identification elements associated with official WJJC affiliation
All recognitions are issued following technical and administrative validation.
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WJJC ORGANIZATION
Official Members maintain a direct relationship with the WJJC International Secretariat. In countries where a National Technical Director (NTD) is appointed, Official Members operate under the coordination of the NTD. Where no National Technical Director is present, Official Members may interact directly with the international organization and, where appropriate, request evaluation for national responsibilities.
POSITION WITHIN THE AFFILIATION SYSTEM
The Official Member level represents a central operational position within the WJJC affiliation system. It connects institutional standards with local teaching activity, ensuring coherence, responsibility and continuity in the transmission of the Kishidō System. Progression beyond this level is subject to specific appointment and institutional mandate.
INSTITUTIONAL COMMITMENT
Affiliating as an Official Member implies responsibility toward:
students and affiliated practitioners
the correct transmission of Kishidō principles
adherence to WJJC technical, ethical and organizational standards
institutional continuity at national and international level.
