The National Technical Director (NTD) represents the highest level of institutional responsibility within the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation (WJJC) at national level. It is not a title of prestige nor an honorary recognition. It is a formal appointment based on trust, authority and accountability, through which the NTD acts as the official technical and institutional representative of the WJJC within a specific country.
NATURE OF THE APPOINTMENT
The role of National Technical Director is:
institutional
non-competitive
non-commercial
founded on responsibility rather than privilege
The appointment is granted exclusively by the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation and remains subject to continuous alignment with its standards, principles and long-term vision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The National Technical Director is responsible for:
officially representing the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation at national level
ensuring the correct transmission of the Kishidō System
coordinating and supervising Official Members within the country
maintaining national technical standards in accordance with WJJC guidelines
authorizing and supervising national seminars, events and official activities
acting as the institutional link between the national structure and the WJJC International Secretariat
The NTD operates with delegated authority and within clearly defined institutional limits.
POSITION WITHIN THE WJJC ORGANIZATION
The National Technical Director:
operates under the authority of the WJJC International Directorate
ensures coherence between international standards and national practice
contributes to the stability and development of the organization
serves as a reference point for instructors, practitioners and affiliated structures
This role implies visibility, but above all responsibility.
FORMATIVE RESPONSIBILITY AND DIRECT LINEAGE
By accepting the appointment, the National Technical Director:
becomes a direct student of the Founder of the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation, Adriano Busà
undertakes continuous technical and cultural formation under his direct guidance
preserves and transmits the Kishidō System in accordance with its original principles
The direct student–teacher relationship is not honorary.
It represents a permanent formative responsibility inseparable from the role.
ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION
The position of National Technical Director is reserved for individuals who demonstrate:
long-term experience and recognized technical competence
proven ethical integrity and institutional reliability
leadership based on service rather than personal ambition
the capacity to coordinate people, structures and long-term development
full alignment with the values and vision of the WJJC
The appointment is not subject to application or automatic progression.
It follows a direct evaluation and selection conducted exclusively by the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation.
AN INSTITUTIONAL MANDATE
Being appointed National Technical Director means accepting a mandate of service toward:
the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation
the national martial community
the integrity and continuity of the Kishidō System
It is a role for those prepared to carry responsibility, not to seek recognition.
