National Technical Director

NATIONAL TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

The National Technical Director (NTD) is an instructor and direct student of Soke Adriano Busà, he has sole responsibility to spread both the style, the philosophy and the image of the WJJC in his country. A contract is subscribed between the WJJC International e the NTD, which protects both parties and is the same for all countries.

More specifically, the contract of representation is intended to guarantee and regulate the use of the registered trademark WJJC and to protect the work of the NTD. The NTD has authority to carry out all the necessary actions and initiatives to correctly propagate both the WJJC style and his school in his country.

In its turn, the WJJC International supports the national organization and all the NTDs by means of advertising on the social media, on the web or by encouraging their proposals. What is more, the WJJC International network is available for NTDs to advertise any events, congresses, seminars, master classes or work shops at national level so that any country has the widest appeal both nationally and internationally.

Publications on sector magazines and some local Tv appearences will help the NTD and his organization gain popularity in his country. Moreover, Soke always makes himself available for all his direct students who need his persanal support in their country.

The WJJC International does never interfere with the decisions, actions or strategies of the NTD unless they damage the name/image of the WJJC, or there is failure to comply with the international rules (see International Rules Book) or they damage other affiliated countries and/or their members.

Instructors

Wjjc Instructors

WJJC instructors, are black belts with a strong determination to teach others what they've learned after many years of hard work. In order to become instructors, they have to pass the teaching qualification exam with the National Technical Director, while the official certificate is issued by the WJJC international.

There are 3 teaching levels:

  1. the 1st Level of teaching (Trainer) enables to teach up to the 5th Kyu/white-blue belt (for minimum age to get the certification check the intenational rules book);
  2. afterwards, one can get the 2nd level of teaching up to the 1st Kyu (Brown Belt), which covers all the Kyu (colored belts);
  3. the 3rd level of teaching (Master) allowes to teach up to the 1st level black belt included.

For example, a Sensei who is 4th Dan black belt with 3rd level of teaching certification, will be allowed to teach up to the 4th Dan.

All instructors are expected to attend all seminars, congresses, master classes, workshops, national events organized by the national federation they belong to, in order to maintain their qualification (see international rules book).

The certificates' validity is for 3 years and is renewed annually by the national technical director by putting an hologram of validation. After 3 years, each instructor will have to get again a certification for another 3 years time. Maintaining the Certified WJJC credential is accomplished through a 3-year recertification process. The process was designated to promote and preserve WJJC's high standard of professional training.

All instructors will have to wear their official instructor Gi in order to distinguish from the students. This Gi has red jacket with black collar, name of the instructor embroidered on the chest heart side, while pants are exactly the same as for students Gi. On the Gi a special badge with one's level is stitched, the badge being delivered after having passed the exam.

On official events, each instructor will have to wear the official uniform:
Winter uniform is composed of black jacket, official tie, special badge to be stitched on the chest with one's level and flag of one's country;
Summer uniform is the same for all international instructors and consists of black pleated pants, official black poloshirt, black shoes and black belt with buckle (see International Rules Book and Summer Uniform Link).

Students

Ju Jitsu Wjjc Students

By students we mean all the members of the WJJC, which includes children, adolescents, men and women of any level, age and in any position or sector in the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation. Students are also those Black Belts who are under their Sensei or Representative to look to, beacuse one should never stop learning, even after many years of experience on the tatami.

However, we generally consider students all those people who attend training classes at the Dojo with colored belts aiming to become Black Belts – that is, all those who are at the Kyu level – either Junior or Senior and wear the WJJC Red/white official Gi. On the other hand, by Sensei or Black Belts we generally mean those who wear the WJJC Red Jacket official Gi.

Black Belts

World Ju Jitsu Corporation Black Belts Senior Soke Adriano Busa

Black belts are all those who have achieved the Dan level. However, black belts are all students who have reached the minimum level of 1st Dan and have no interest in becoming instructors, therefore, they remain simple students and have no teaching qualification.

They wear the same white/red student Gi. Yet, as well as instructors, on official events, they will have to wear the winter uniform with its black belts badge with the flag of their country on the chest. While, in the Summer, they will have to wear the Summer uniform, which is exactly the same as for Instructors (see uniform links).

Technical Officer

TECHNICAL-OFFICER-BADGE---UNITED-KINGDOMTechnical Officer is the qualification directly under that of Senior Technical Officer.

The minimum technical level required to become Technical Officer is Black Belt 3rd Dan.

This qualification is given at the complete discretion of the national coach after he has evaluated, in detail, the qualifications of the subject.

Senior Technical Officer

SENIOR-TECHNICAL-OFFICER-BADGE---UNITED-KINGDOMSenior Technical Officer, with a minimum technical level requirement of 5th Dan, is the highest qualification one can reach after that of National Technical Director.

The conferment of such a qualification falls to the national coach, who transmits the name of the candidate to the WJJC, which in turn enters the candidate's personal data into the International Index.

International Executive Technical Officer

INTERNATIONAL-EXECUTIVE-OFFICER-BADGE---UNITED-KINDOMInternational Executive Technical Officer is the highest qualification a member can reach in the WJJC and is directly under that of the founder.

This qualification is hardly ever released, as it is given to a member who will represent the WJJC internationally.

The candidate is closely examined by the founder himself.

Not only will the minimum technical skills (5th Dan) be taken into account, but the psychological, human and communicative qualities of the candidate will be weighed before bestowing upon him this highest qualification.
