Senators are Direct Students of Soke Adriano Busà who have been under him for 15 years at a minimum. After so long time, it is Soke the one who divlivers this patch to his most faithful students who become Senators. This special patch must be stitched on the right sleeve of the Gi and replaces the Direct Student patch.
This patch is for Direct Students of Soke Adriano Busà only. It is up to Soke to deliver it to his student along with the certificate. The student is expected to honour this privilege over time, bahave according to his position and without taking advantage of that, otherwise he loses his status as Direct Student. This patch must be stitched on the right sleeve of the jacket, right under the patch showing the level of teaching.
These patches are for kobudo instructors of the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation.
Instructors begin from the 1st level of teaching, which allows to teach up to the 1st level for all weapons, to move on to the second level for all weapons and end up with the third level for all weapons.
The course of studies to become an instructor of Kobudo is both long and demanding, becoming a sensei can't be taken for granted.
It requires mastery, great powers of concentration and the attitude towards teaching.
These patches are for students attending Kobudo classes of the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation.
There are 3 different levels in increasing difficulty:
yellow - 1st level;
orange - 2nd level;
red - 3rd level.
There are 3 difficulty levels for each weapon.
These patches are for students who practice WJJC Kobudo (study of the traditional Japanese weapons). The patch corresponding to the level achieved has to be stitched on the Gi. Weapons require good skills, so they need much time to achieve a medium level of manipulation. This path is very specific and is not for everyone. WJJC Kobudo syllabus includes: Nunchaku, Sai, Tonfa, Jo, Bo, Stick, Kama, Naginata, Katana, Knife and Tessen.
WJJD stands for Women Ju-Jitsu Department. We've always been concerned with the weakest, so we've set up a special women's department and have also designed a special badge for women. This patch is only for women both students, instructors and junior girls can stitch it on their Gi.
This patch is for WJJC Fighters. It has to be stitched on the right sleeve of the Fight Gi (see WJJC Combat Gi link), exactly in the same position as the Instructor Badge on the red jacket Gi.
This patch is meant for junior students who really stand out and have a flair for becoming instructors when they grow up. Along with this patch, the junior will have to change his Gi and wear the red jacket Gi. The patch shall be stitched on the right sleeve, 1 cm. right under the stitching of the shoulder, the name of the junior won't be embroidered on the chest. The assistant coach is not allowed to teach, yet he helps his sensei to a great extent at carrying his jobs out at the dojo.
This patch is for a student that has leadership skills. He's picked from his Sensei out for helping other junior during the training, he might help his mates to line up for the bow, with kicks or punches, make the rolling breakfalls etc. Yet, he is not allowed to teach.
The Samurai Badge is for all junior who wish to wear it and is not compulsory. By junior we mean both children and teenager students from the age of 5 to 16. This patch must be stitched on the right sleeve of the Gi, 1 cm. right under the stitching of the shoulder. This patch must be removed when the student from junior becomes senior at 17.
